Bookings Open - Guest Teaching in 2022

I’ve set goals for 2022 that include increasing teaching, speaking & lecturing opportunities for myself and I need your help.

I’d love to work with more vocational, FE & HE settings across the country. Do you know if an educational setting is seeking an industry leader to give a one-off-talk, presentation, seminar or Q&A session? Perhaps you could pass this on to a colleague or department within your setting?

I am available to speak on:

  • Dance Producing - both indoor & outdoor contexts

  • Dance-making or developing your own project - how to self-produce?

  • Strategy & Leadership in the arts

  • Community Engagement / Practice

  • Fundraising / how to make it all happen

  • Navigating the arts as a new graduate / career pathways

  • Being freelance

Recently I lectured on London Studio Centre’s MA in Dance Producing & Management, in addition to teaching senior leavers at Elmhurst Ballet School in 2020. This accompanies a large chunk of my early career in community dance practice, building to manager, producer & senior leader, where I’ve been lucky enough to have teaching & lecturing experiences peppered throughout. I have taught at all levels of education from early years through to University, adults & older adults.

This also comes off the back of recent research findings, as part of the Midlands Dance Producing Collective’s Arts Council England funded project (of which I am a founding member). The research points strongly to a huge gap/need for producers & producing skills and a particular gap in students understanding that this is a viable career option upon graduation. Sound interesting? Maybe we could build a module together that supports students into the world of work in the arts?

Available to visit in-person or teach online.
